Mt. Tsukuba Cable Car

One of the greatest cable cars in Japan, Mt. Tsukuba cable car links Miyawaki Station and Tsukuba-sancho Station, located on Miyukigahara Plateau. The line is 1,634 meters long with a difference in altitude of 495 meters. The trip takes 8 minutes, covering 3.5 meters per second.
